Brewing a Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale – With a TWIST

Hey hey hey… its brew day! And I am brewing a Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale with a Twist! Brewing a mr beer northwest pale ale

What do I mean when I say with a Twist? Great question… the twist is that you take the Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale can of goo and you add some other goodies to it…

… we call these goodies “Add Junks” or in real English “Adjuncts”.

By doing so you turn this Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale into what they call a Mr Beer Santa Rita Ale!

I got the recipe from the Mr Beer blog… Click This Link if ya want check out the recipe.

If you have not picked up a Mr Beer kit you can get one by clicking here!  They rock for small batch brewing!

So this here beer recipe calls for:

  • 1 Northwest Pale Ale Brewing Extract <= Click that link to order a can of that goo! mr beer northwest pale ale
  • 1 Packet Carapils Malt (4 oz.)
  • 1 Packet Crystal Malt 15 (4 oz. You’ll only use 2 oz. for this recipe)
  • 2 Packets Cascade Hops (0.5 oz. each)
  • 2 Muslin Sacks
  • 1 Safale US-05 Yeast

I love these Mr Beer recipes, they make a very impressive home brew and pretty excited to try this Santa Rita Ale out on taste test day!
