This is a very easy stout recipe for this Guinness clone.  3 Grains and 1 hop addition and this diy Guinness beer turns out great and very close to the original Guinness Beer. How to Make Guinness Beer

Alright lets get into how to make Guinness Beer shall we?

5 .5 Gallon Batch Size

OG: 1.053

FG: 1.013

ABV: 5.2%

 

Grains:

8lb Marris Otter or 2 English 2 Row

3lb Flaked Barley

1lb Roasted Barley

 

Hops:

2 oz East Kent Goldings (60 min)

 

Yeast:

Nottingham or White Labs Irish Ale Yeast WLP004

 

Instructions:

 

Mash @ 150 f for 60 mins

Mashout @ 168 f for 15 min

Sparge with 170 f,

Boil 90 mins

Whirlfloc into boil 10 min left in boil
