Ol Durty Blonde Ale

Big Robb’s World Famous “The Ol”Durty Blonde”

This Blonde Ale recipe is a delicious nicely balanced between Malt sweetness and Hop Bitterness Blonde Ale with a Golden Color.  Great for hot summer days!

Here is a video of me brewing this blonde ale and taste testing it.

 

5 Gallon Batch Size (finished product)

OG: 1.048

FG: 1.010

ABV: 4.7%

SRM: 5-7

 

Grains:

8 lbs 2 Row (or marris otter) (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

12 oz white wheat malt (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

8 oz Crystal 40L or Caramunich II (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

4 oz Carapils/Dextrine (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

 

Hops:

.25 oz Galena 55 min (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

.25 oz Cascade 25 min (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

.25 oz Cascade 10 min (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

.25 Columbus 10 min (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

.25 oz Cascade 5 min (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

 

Yeast: Safale us-05 (support our site and buy here, opens in new link)

 

Instructions:

Strike water – 160 f

Mash in

Mash @ 152 f for 60 mins

Mashout @ 164 f for 15 min

Sparge with 164 f,

Boil 60 mins
